Using the custom made Slayer espresso machine from Seattle and coffee beans roasted in Kyoto,
we serve a drinks and foods made in Kyoto, including seasonal specials.

Rickshaw Café does not only offer carefully and lovingly brewed Kyoto roasted coffee and cafe latte to enjoy in a relaxing atmosphere, but we also offer local specialties such as matcha latte, hojicha latte and yuzu (Japanese lemon) tea, all made with ingredients from Kyoto.

The miniature rickshaw drink holder is made by a local artisan to add to your 'rickshaw' experience at our café. Depending on your mood, choose to sit on the sofa, at the counter or the bench to enjoy the courtyard.

'Ebisuke' is the official mascot for both 'Ebisuya Rickshaw' and the 'Rickshaw Café'. The stone Ebisuke is sitting on the steps to our Cafe, greeting you and wishing us a good cafe-customer relationship. Some say that their personal relationships, including marriage, have improved or happened after touching Ebisuke... there is only one way to find out ;)

Coffee to go can be ordered inside the cafe or at our take-out window.
Free wifi, electrical outlets, restroom as well as sightseeing maps of the Arashiyama area are available. Our Cafe also has a multi-purpose washroom and a baby crib. If you need directions or are interested in taking a rickshaw tour feel free to ask our staff!
